For most wear parts and many components, quality aftermarket parts from verified manufacturers perform at 90–100% of OEM levels at 40–60% of the price. For precision hydraulic components, the gap narrows — but verified suppliers close it with bench testing.
The key is not "OEM vs aftermarket" but "verified vs unbranded". A verified aftermarket part with material certificates and test data is a better buy than a counterfeit OEM-label part.
Wear parts: bucket teeth, cutting edges, blades, liners, brake drums, clutch kits, seals, filters. These are consumables — replacement frequency is high and aftermarket quality is mature.
Structural parts: leaf springs, torque rods, wheel hubs, mudguards, brackets. Low precision requirements, big price savings.
Examples in our program: HOWO brake drums, bucket teeth & cutting edges, seal kits
Precision hydraulic components: pumps, motors, valves, reducers. A cheap clone can fail fast and contaminate the whole system. Solution: buy from suppliers who bench-test and provide test data.
Electronics: ECUs, sensors, controllers. Aftermarket electronics vary widely — verify compatibility and warranty carefully.

Ask three questions: (1) What is the failure cost? A failed seal costs minutes; a failed pump costs days and a contaminated system. (2) Is the part verified? Certificates, test data, batch photos. (3) What is the supplier offering — a generic part or a cross-referenced one?
For fast-moving consumables, verified aftermarket is the obvious choice. For critical precision parts, still consider aftermarket — but from a supplier who tests and stands behind the product.
